I do not know if the error page gets sent in when I do try to continue or upload an existing file. At this moment I would not recommend this game.. I gave this a positive thumbs up because seems like this could potentially be a great game. I've only played it for little over an hour just enough to see some bugs, get a feel for the gameplay, and give my first impressions. So far its pretty fun. There are a few annoyances like the dwarves mining blocks you have not even selected. I had one of my dwarves get stuck inside a block near the starting point and he remained stuck until I mined the block to release him. I do like the game though and bugs are expected in early access. For me i didn't notice any performance issues. Should you buy the game? If you want to help support the devs sure. If your looking for a more complete game with loads of content wait until later when more stuff is added. Right now there is not much. Definitely full of potential and one thing I really love is that the game appears to support modding though I did not find alot on that front as of yet.. Considering that the game is still alpha, I think they've done a good job trying to replicate a Dwarf Fortress experience. There is still room for improvement, the UI can be improved and the tutorial can explain a bit more. Maybe a standalone tutorial would be indicated for such a complex game.Anyway, can't wait to see how this game progresses.. Bought this game ignoring the warnings of bugs and crashes, now I wish I hadn't. -Game breaking bugs like traders getting stuck in random places (making it so no other traders come which means you lose)-Glitches with building objects that are permanently stuck to your cursor-For a game that focuses on micro'ing and money making through efficiency, this is not nearly polished enough to make that aspect of the game fun-If it was a bit cheaper, I wouldn't be bothered by the early release problems, but for $20 I would expect more than this. Especially when compared to similar games like Stardew Valley with a similar price tag. -Game has potential, but atm there is a lot of work that needs to be done.. Really liked the concept of the game. But the game doesnt work properly on my Mac. I have ran in so many glitches that there is no point in playing the game anymore. Please do not buy the game, until mayor changes are made.. TL;DR: I like it but i'm getting frustrated at having to fight the game to discover the fun in playing it.I'm giving this a thumbs up because it's early access and it just launched. If I found no fun in playing it the way it is; i would have thumbs down. It's alright, it's not nearly finished but it's okay.I bought this for the visual reference to dungeon keeper. In a way, I enjoy it like i enjoy dungeon keeper. This could one day be a great game but here are the things that are currently below acceptable quality or in issue.1. It crashes. Sometimes it's unaviodable.2. The UI is hopeless. It's beyond bad. It's saving grace is that it's functional though cryptic.3. It's not a game. To be a game it would require a goal or a some form of progression. If there is a progression in there, it's not explained why I should progress or whats waiting for me at the end. The tutorial messages are the only way they describe anything and those are triggered by finding the esoteric funtions of the ui.This is 90% of the way through being a good tech demo and about 10% of the way through being a fun game. This game has progressed so far with an audience that clearly understands what it is and why it does the things it does. This is no longer the only audience. There could be a lot of description and training in the systems it offers. Many other games choose to do this through single lesson levels at the beginning of the game. Maybe they have some plan to do this in future.. I love this game, I truly enjoy playing it... when it works. There are still several bugs that need to be squashed but it is still in development. If you are curious about purchasing this game and whether or not you would enjoy it, I assure you, you will, until something goes wrong. They are often small things but they tend to ruin the experience. With that said I recommend this game, just not today. They are looking at having everything where they want it around Q4 2018. I don't want anyone to purchase this game now and write it off. There are constant, meaningful updates. This team clearly wants to make not only a fully functional but also highly enjoyable experience.I look forward to watching this game grow.. DwarfCorp is far from being ready for even early access. In it's current state, the game isn't even playable.. I love this game. (review will be updated)Pros:Easy to get into, fun to build, and the new update really fixed lagging!Team is very quick to fight off bugs and open to ideas!Cons:EA so yes there are some bugs mainly footpaths and priority tasks pilling up.Features are missing and things to keep it new are lacking. (wishing you can travel to trade or make an auto market)Get this if you want to support and help with this gameDon't if you want a full game and extremely bored with your library.
